To turn off the Writing Assistant at the school or district level, an administrator can contact the Support team by emailing support@activelylearn.com.

1. Turning the Writing Assistant On/Off
Turn the Writing Assistant on/off at the Student Level
Teachers can enable or disable the Writing Assistant for individual students.
- Navigate to the roster page

The Writing Assistant can be enabled or disabled for specific questions within an assignment.

The Writing Assistant offers two feedback modes:
Option 1: Review Feedback First:
In the Assignment Settings, select "Review Feedback First" under the Writing Assistant. This mode allows instructors to review the Writing Assistant’s feedback before it is sent to students.
Option 2: Automatically Send Feedback
In the Assignment Settings, select "Automatically Send Feedback" under the Writing Assistant. This mode sends Writing Assistant feedback directly to students without instructor review.
