Both teachers and students have the ability to customize how they experience texts on Actively Learn.
In their workspace and in their assignments in classes teachers can change text settings to better suit their working environment. Students can do the same in an assignment from their class view.
NOTE: PDF's do not include text settings.
STEP 1: Select the text
STEP 2: Select "Settings"
STEP 3: Personalize the spacing, font size, color scheme, paragraph numbering, and font. You can "Restore Defaults" from this menu, too.
Authoring Options
You also have authoring options within the text. Here is an overview of what you will find:
- Marking assignment as a quiz
- Report text error
- Remove questions by section
- Remove all questions and notes
- View notes
- View questions
You can decide to mark an assignment as a quiz. If you mark an assignment as a quiz, most of the sharing features in the assignment settings will be turned off. Learn more about quizzes.
Are there errors with the text (typo, formatting, miscategorized, or anything else)? If so, please let us know by clicking "report text error".
Do you need to redo questions in a section? Or do you need to completely start over on annotating and creating questions? You can remove questions by sections or the entire text.
You will also be able to view all of your questions or notes in list form. You have the options to print these lists, and select questions or notes from the lists and be brought to them in the text. You can also filter questions by depth of knowledge levels and filter notes by category.
