When an assignment is done, you may want to bulk grade unanswered questions as Incomplete.
Important: Bulk grading unanswered questions overrides saved student drafts.
STEP 1: Select the class you want to grade
STEP2: Click on “Assignments”
STEP 3: Choose the tile of the assignment or quiz you want to grade
STEP 4: Select grading panel and click the 3 dot menu icon. Then click "Bulk actions," and select "Grade unanswered questions" from the menu
STEP 5: Choose which unanswered questions you want to bulk grade and click submit
If you want to allow a student to respond to a question you have already bulk graded as incomplete, you may go back and "reset response" for the student.
FYI: If the teacher has clicked allow revision and the student has not submitted a revised response, bulk grading will revert the response to the most recent submission by the student.
Bulk Allow Revisions
You can bulk allow revisions at once to save yourself time from scrolling and approving each student's revision request individually
STEP 1: Click on the 3 dot menu icon in the grading panel
STEP 2: Select "Allow revisions" from the "Bulk actions" menu
Teachers can also choose to allow revisions on all questions, or responses based on grade. For example, teachers may choose to allow revisions for all student responses graded as "Incomplete."
Teachers can also select the student or students who will be allowed to revise their responses.
STEP 3: Then select "Allow Revisions"
Restore responses awaiting revision
If you have allowed students to revised their answer but they have not submitted a revision, you can restore their previous response and grade. This will apply the grade given prior to clicking allow revision.
