Automatic grading for multiple choice

In Actively Learn, grading for multiple-choice questions is automatic. When you create a multiple-choice question, you will need to choose the correct answer(s) for that question. You can adjust the point value assigned to each individual question, and also set the percentages for correct and incorrect multiple choice responses.

Select the correct answer when creating multiple choice questions

Teachers can make two adjustments for multiple-choice responses. First, they can modify the percentage weight assigned to multiple-choice responses overall. 

To adjust the "percentages for multiple-choice responses", you will make changes in the Grading settings menu.

The grading settings menu can be accessed in two ways: From the Assignments tab, under the "Class Settings" menu:

Or from within an assignment itself, under the three dot kebab menu, "Edit grading settings" **Please note: changing the grading settings from within an assignment will affect all assignments in the class in focus**

Second, they have the option to adjust the point value assigned to each individual multiple-choice question.

From within an assignment, you will select "edit":
